I had a chill time at Tayrona Tented Lodge. The sound of the waves crashing from my tent was magical, and the sunset views were epic. Just a heads up, the room door doesn’t lock from inside, which felt a bit odd, but overall, loved the experience!

Location tucked among palm trees provides a lush escape.
Noise from a neighboring restaurant party can disrupt sleep until 2 a.m.. The mattresses in the tents lack support, making them uncomfortable for couples. the facility feels unfinished, with limited common areas and poor lighting at night. Access to potable water is questionable due to an unusual smell, and bathers need to be cautious of occasionally rough surf.

The beach location offered a tranquil retreat, perfect for unwinding. Staff members were exceptionally helpful, arranging transportation effortlessly and providing useful local tips. While the eco tents were basic, they were clean and relatively comfortable. however, frequent power outages made the heat uncomfortable without fans. Dining options were limited on-site, but the nearby hostel provided good food and a lively atmosphere. Mosquitoes were an issue during my visit, so be prepared with repellent.

i almost considered giving this a decent review, but the yellow water and horrendous chlorine smell ruined my chance. i also expected a room upgrade given the circumstances but alas, felt like any ol' guest. not to mention, no lock inside my tent! lovely feel for privacy, isn't it?

Oh man, the pan roasted beef tenderloin I had nearby was an explosion of flavors! Plus, the sunsets at the beach were absolutely magical, and we spotted monkeys during our morning strolls—that's some serious eye candy. Also, the tents always had electricity, and we had some fantastic evenings soaking in the vibes with so many well-located restaurants nearby.
Now, let's keep it real. the plumbing had a distinct odor, and the yellow water was a bit off-putting. Not to mention, no lock from the inside gave us a laugh when some late-night partygoers nearly walked into our tent! But honestly, everything still shined despite these quirks.

Great Stay with Room for Improvement
Relaxing location near the beach, perfect for unwinding. The staff were incredibly accommodating, arranging our transport seamlessly. While the food included was decent, it lacked variety. real juices would have been a nice touch. Check room readiness, especially for electricity outages during hot nights!
